Awarded2U were exceptionally proud to donate bespoke medals to support this annual charity football match.

The Grenfell Foundation is a charitable organisation set up this year at the request of bereaved and survivors from the Grenfell Tower fire.

Kelly Smith MBE, Rachel Yankey OBE and Marienne Spacey MBE headed a glittering list of former England players confirmed for this season’s Charity Trophy held on Sunday 12 August at The Hive, home to Barnet FC.

The #WNL4GRENFELL Charity Trophy 2018 is supported by the FA Women’s National League and hosted by the Grenfell Foundation and the Harrow Club.

An FA WNL Select Team faced England All Stars, managed by former Arsenal Ladies legend Vic Akers OBE and also included the likes of Jodie Handley, Rachel Unitt plus Casey Stoney, recently appointed as manager of Manchester United newly formed women’s team.

FA WNL Chairman Carol West said “The Grenfell Tower tragedy continues to affect those that lost friends, family and loved ones as well as those still living in its shadow in the local community.
